If you know me and are actually interested in details about what’s going on with my ex-job now that the ex-boss is no longer there, email me or send me a message on facebook and I can send you links to articles in local papers and/or links to topics in local discussion forums on this.

Basically, while some of the ex-boss’s friends and acquaintances are still supporting her, most of the community seems pretty thrilled that she is gone. Unfortunately, because my replacement and I both had to follow the ex-boss’s rules when we worked for her, we seem to have been tarred with the same brush, and there have been several comments to the effect that they hope me/replacement have been fired, too, because we were just as bad. Sigh.

The ex-boss herself posted a lengthy piece on a local forum “anonymously” – pretending to be someone with friends who work at the place (although I know her well enough that she gave away her identity to me immediately - not to mention that I looked up her IP address, and yep, totally her), claiming that she (the “friend”) knew how wonderful she (the ex-boss) was (!) and that she (the “friend”) had heard that the board members were committing crimes and that she (the ex-boss) was fired because she (the ex-boss) had confronted them about their crimes, and that the community couldn’t wait for her (the ex-boss) to get her job back! Well, if “the community” is representative of the people who replied to the thread to disagree with her sentiment about herself, well… I guess it’s no surprise that she’s still as delusional as ever.

Someone other than the ex-boss (confirmed as the daughter via IP address lookup) posted something about my replacement on this public forum – something that was partly true (and that was something which my replacement had told the ex-boss in confidence) and partly spurious, defamatory, and racist conjecture… and my replacement is furious. It’s also a little unfortunate, because people who didn’t realize that I had a replacement would probably assume that what was written was about me, and in terms of me, none of it is true whatsoever.

As of this morning, the daughter is writing on facebook about how she and her mother are organizing a campaign with the head non-profit agency of the united states in the same category as the one she was fired from (sorry, that's really vague; couldn't think of a better way of explaining it) to protest their wrongful treatment.

Again: SIGH.

Again: Can I please have a life WITHOUT all this drama?

(Oddly enough, the boyfriend has had no involvement in any of the current drama whatsoever. While if I ever do get rid of him, that will eliminate *his* aspect of the drama in my life, but it won't do anything about everything mentioned above. Again, sigh.)
